We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the orthodontist in various procedures. Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
• Assist the orthodontist during orthodontic procedures
• Take and record patients
• Perform patient assessments and document medical history
• Take dental impressions such scan and X-rays as directed by the orthodontist
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and instruct based on the procedure

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant is preferred
• Proficiency in using dental software, such as Cloud 9 & Denticon
• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
• Ability to a scan and X-rays
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
