Requirements and Job Description

• Current license and malpractice coverage
• Availability to work Saturdays
• Willing to travel to our other offices in Norwalk, Danbury and Derby, if needed
• Review charts and daily hygiene schedule.
• Perform patient screening procedures; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, head and neck inspection, dental charting.
• Apply preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides).
• Take radiographs
• Demonstrate patient appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and mouth rinse).
• Explain the relationship between healthy diet, good nutrition and oral health.
• Clean and set up dental chair for the next patient.
• Restock hygiene room at the end of the day.
• Review documentation and charting at the end of the day
• Planet DDS (Denticon) software experience is preferred
